We have a bus!
Ok, I just had to say that before anything. It's pretty awesome. Don't get me wrong, I loved piling into a van with a bunch of equipment and the band and trying to sleep while a seatbelt dug into my kidneys. Ok, that?s not true. But I?m so psyched because I have a home now. I know I have a definite place I can chill at the end of the night after every show. That?s pretty dope.
So a lot has happened since the last time I wrote. I say that every time I write, but I guess that?s a good thing. I?ve been on my first headline tour, and the crowds have been amazing. Cities like Philly, and New York have absolutely rocked. We?ve packed the venues pretty good, and I can?t thank all of you enough for that! We?ve had Dirtie Blonde out with us, who is completely amazing. They?re definitely one of my favorite bands right now.
Hmm, what else big has happened since I wrote last? Oh yea, my record came out. Small detail. It?s been absolutely AMAZING seeing it for sale in stores, and I can?t thank my radio and promo team enough ? and all the fans of course! The week the album came out was insane. I played Good Morning America, TRL and The CBS Morning show in one week. These morning shows have a load in time of like 3 am. I?ve never gotten so little sleep in my life. I did most before 8 am that week than I?ve done in some entire days. It was fun though.
I've been checkng my myspace a lot and I've reached over a million profile views. That's so awesome. I love reading all your comments and seeing what you guys thought of the music and shows. It's a great wy to get to know all of you. So keep them coming! Can't thank you guys enough.
A couple days ago I played on Live With Regis and Kelly. That morning (yes, 7am again) before the show, I ended up in an elevator with Regis. He was hilarious. He?s just like he is on the show, in real life. He was all loud and intense. He asked me how old I was and I was like, 17. And he goes, "COME ON! TEDDY!" like in my face. He cracked us all up.
So now here I am. Still on the road, finishing up these dates and working on some new songs. Thanks for all the support again everyone! Evan and I are going to go attempt to skateboard now.
