Greetings from The Big Apple
Hey, so I've been living in New York City for the past two months making my first album. It's the first time I've ever been away from home for more than a week, and now we're going on two months (a two months that I have survived on nothing but delivery cheese steaks and sleeping on my cousin's futon). So it's weird, but awesome, because of everything that's going on. Right now we're finishing up the album; I also just finished shooting for a show pilot I'm doing (in which I play a kid pretty similar to myself); and I did a read with Jon Bon Jovi. JON BON JOVI! ? the king of 80's rock. Overall, everything is moving very fast, and it's all very exciting. The album kicked off fast. The second day I was here, we had two new songs written and did a rough track for the album. It's not much different from working in my basement, just more organized and not my basement. Right now we're finishing up the album ? so hopefully you'll be able to get a listen soon. Doing this pilot has been Interesting. On the last day of shooting, the set moved to some studios that happened to be located above the Sesame Street set. Sesame Street was my childhood; but I never got to see the set while I was there ? that's a bad ending to this story. I still miss Rochester every so often and playing with Faction. I actually had my buddy John come up to do a solo on "Night Air" for the album. I'm leaving, but I will return. Keep checking back, a lot of great things are going to happen. - Teddy
