Hi Everyone -
The Holidays are really close! I'm excited. I just went down south for a few shows, and now I'm back home in Rochester for a while. On New Year's Eve I'm playing a show in Rochester at The Blue Cross Arena. That's going to be an absolute blast. I went there to see my very first concert when i was about 11. It was the Barenaked Ladies with Duncan Sheik. I was really into that "Stunt" record during that time, and it was crazy to see your current favorite band for your first concert. I really liked Duncan Sheik too, and a couple months ago I actually played a show with him.
Lately I've been spending about every waking hour (and some asleep ones too) in my studio. There's a lot of ideas I've been having for the next record and I will have a lot of songs to go through when it comes time to sort things out. In the meantime it's been great seeing the response to "Snow Blankets The Night." Today it is in the Top 10 on iTunes and has been for a while. Thanks to everyone that has been enjoying it!
"All I Want For Christmas" has been on the radio too, and it's been really cool to hear it. Thanks to everyone requesting it. So yea, my tonsils come out after new years and that should be interesting. I'm looking forward to being rid of these sore throats though, so that's a plus. I think I'm getting more used to being home now. I feel more like a human. I gathered my Xmas list up this week, and I'll tell you one thing, a Nintendo Wii is definitely the first thing on the list. I also want a drill so I can build stuff on the road. I know that seems a little weird, but I love drilling things. And since I can't skateboard right now in the snow, drilling pieces of wood together will have to do.
What do all you want for The Holidays? Check me out on Myspace and let me know. Have a GRRRRRRRREAT HOLIDAY!
Love Teddy
