I Can See Clearly Now!

So I went home for a few days to relax after recording with Billy for a couple weeks, and I ended up getting laser surgery on my eyes so I don't need to wear glasses or contacts anymore. It's a pretty amazing procedure, and I'm actually baffled on how I can all of a sudden see. But no complaints here. Having to remember to bring contacts on the road was the most annoying thing. I'd forget them all the time, and the guys would always yell at me because I'd leave a trail of the used contact cases everywhere after opening a new pair. But now I need to use these eye drops to keep my eyes from getting dry after the surgery, so I'm leaving those everywhere now.

I played a couple great charity shows in New York this past week. one was for the PENCIL organization and the other was to benefit Mt. Sinai. They were a lot of fun and it felt good to be back on stage again after a long run in the studio. But here I am with Billy and we're at it again in the studio. I will keep you all posted on how it's going. Can't wait to show you some of the new stuff!
