Hey Everyone- OK so I'm touring with Hilary Duff and Tyler Hilton. Last year I was playing in coffee shops in upstate New York. I've never been West of like Ohio. Now I'm in Mankato, Minnesota which I must say, while completely lovely, is a place I never thought I'd be. AND I get to play music to all the lovely Mankatoians. Can't beat being in a new place and getting to jam. So we're doing acoustic versions of the tunes and that's definitely something new for me. Oh yea, so is playing to thousands in an amphitheater. I'm getting used to it. It's fun. Yea. Yesterday we went to this hilarious diner. It was a 50's style diner that took the 50's thing a little too far. I mean come on. How much can you dress up a middle-aged waitress in 50's paraphernalia until it just becomes overkill? And sad. Anyway we got a good laugh at that place. I don't even remember what state it was in. By the way, Evan and I stumbled upon the fact that nothing is locked in the entire town of Mankato. We walked in to like 4 different buildings all completely unlocked and deserted, the last one was probably one of the strangest places I have ever seen. we go in and there's a retro vending machine, bookshelves, some tables and chairs, and the aroma of an old folks home. So me and Evan proceeded to sit down in two leather chairs and watch "Full House" on a random, yet convenient, TV for a bit. and then we left. OK I gotta run to sound check. Come out to the shows and check the dates I'm with Hilary (who has been really awesome and nice, I can't thank her enough). Don't forget to email me and tell me what you think of the music and shows.
